You Pick The Content!!

Stealing a page straight from Rich’s awesome blog, and checking out the functionality of WP’s Polls feature.

I have to admit it fully, I’ve really been enjoying this recent Rush (partial) Series. But soon I will run out of Rush albums, as my collection basically stops at 1990 or so. Thus, I’m already thinking ahead to what to do next. And now, with this fine poll feature, you get to decide which studio album series I do next!

Now, granted, there’s a real mix of styles here, and some would be a lot more work than others. But I’d do any of them with equal glee, they’re all good to me! I’d like to hear it from you guys. Every vote counts! Voting will go for one week starting today, and so will end on May 28, at which point I will acknowledge the winner and gear up for the next series!

Get in there and give ‘er!

  1. Tossed my vote into the mix….

    • I know! Actually, I’d be just as happy to do a series on any of those bands, which is a good thing since I put them as options… And, thinking about it now, I’ve done a few of their records on this site over the years anyway. But I’d be re-doing them now, never know, I might disagree with myself!

As it stands at the time of this reply, we have 9 votes and the Beasties are winning with 3 votes. Still time to get in there and have your say, if you haven’t yet, folks!

      • I disagreed with my past self when I revisited Kid A – at the time I was bemused, what happened to the guitars??? But I appreciated it way more a decade later or so.
I certainly wouldn’t complain about a Beasties revisit – was just having a conversation the other day about having to choose between Paul’s Boutique and Ill communication, not an easy task!

      • I’d probably disagree with myself on some aspects of radiohead during a re-listen, too. We grow, we change, hopefully for the better.

As it stands with the weekend over, still at 9 votes and the Beasties on top with 3 votes. If anyone out there wants to vote, go do so now! Voting ends on the 28th.

As for choosing between those two records, it’s simple: BOTH.
