I Have Been Challenged

Sarca has thrown down the gauntlet two-fold, first by bravely stepping out from behind her coffee cup in a video on her site and, secondly, by awesomely allowing her hubs to dump ice water over her head for the ALS challenge that seems to be sweeping the interwebs.

In the video, Sarca challenged myself, Mike, 1537 and stephen1001 to do a similar challenge.

When I first received this challenge, my immediate thought was ‘yeah, I’m not doing that, though I will make a donation.’ And so I went into the comments on Sarca’s site and linked to the Patrick Stewart video. Cute, right?

But I got to thinking. Sarca really manned up, here. She put herself out there, and she did this thing. And then she called me out by name. How can I hide from all of that? I’ve got to (at the very least) be a good sport.

So. Be ready.

I will meet this challenge.

PS Here’s where you go to Donate.

  1. Just FYI you have to complete the challenge first, and then challenge Scott. (And two others.)
