Gettin’ Yer Workout On, Pt.3

Alright folks, here’s a round up of the running motivation songs, as I’ve seen them in my posts and in your comments. I’ve added several more of my own (in bold text). And I am still (of course!) open to any and all extra suggestions as you may have them.

I was thinking, it’s too bad I would be using this mix for running. If it were for weightlifting, I could totally include Black Sabbath’s Iron Man! Although, you know, it’s such a great song I might just do that anyway…

Have a look!

  1. That’s a nice library!
Others that I’ve had while running (more recent ones surprisingly): Arkells Pullin’ punches to get fired up, Wilco’s California Stars if you want to keep yourself from going too fast at the start of a run, and Doves’ pounding for a don’t give up yet boost at the end of a run!

    • Thanks! A lot of this is great suggestions from our Readers, which I appreciate greatly. Arkells is a great choice. I saw them open for Immaculate Machine a long while back, they put on a great show. I do like Wilco, and I’m all for making sure i don’t run too fast. 🙂 Is there a particular Doves track you have in mind?
