Change To The KMA Main Page

UPDATE: The sticky post containing the Master List link has now been removed. Head on over and prop yourself up on a stool at the side bar over there, hit that link and send us your list!!

Alrighty folks! You probably already noticed this week that I changed the Pluggery sticky post (at the top of our main page) over to solely house the link for our KMA Community Holy Grail Items Search Master List project!

Well, I’ve now added to my repertoire of WP wizardry skills, figuring out how to add a link to the Master List in the sidebar over there on the right of the screen. See it over there? That’s its new home.

This new spot keeps the Grail List post highly visible (just like the sticky post did), but by removing the sticky post altogether (which I will do today) it allows our newest posts to sit right at the top of the KMA page, the better to catch your attention.

Party on, Garth.

And don’t forget, folks, if you haven’t sent in your Grail Items list yet, feel free to do so. You just never know when one of our awesome Readers is going to walk right past an item you dearly want, right there in their own local record store! Let our KMA community help you find the items you want the most!

Just use that link in the sidebar, over there on the right, and drop us a comment! Or email us, whichever you prefer.

Let’s Give Er!

  1. Name dropping Garth will always draw a like from me!

  2. Yo!
You looking for Platinum Blonde on CD or other?

    • CD, and therein lies the challenge, I’ve discovered. I’m thinking maybe not too many of them were made. I’ve seen them for, like, $100.

I’m especially after Standing In The Dark and Alien Shores.

      • I hunt specifically for 80s alot of the time. Haven’t seen PB on CD, but I’ll bolo.

This list needs to indicate format – CD, vinyl, cassette, 8-track (lol). I know some of us prefer the vinyl, but others might not care. Just saying…I don’t want to pick up the wrong thing.

        • A girl after my own heart! I have quite a bit of 80s here.

You’re absolutely right, the list should be more clear. I assume most of it to be CD, and there are indications for vinyl (like for 1537, natch) where I know for sure it was requested. I’m on it! Thanks!

          • No problem. I often search the racks at Value Village, et al…you never know what you might find.

            • The nice thing about VV is you can see the disc before you buy it. I’ve let a few discs I REALLY wanted go, here in our store, because they were in rough shape. I’m on a collection integrity purge right now, so anything I buy is in perfect shape. I’m sure a lot of us are the same!

I appreciate you looking! BIG TIME!
