Remember them? I used to have quite a few of them, and honestly thought they were still here. Sadly, an extensive search of the music library has only turned up a few. I know there was one for Kim Mitchell’s Rock And Roll Duty, for example, but no luck finding it… Anyway, I assume these to be the only remaining items left. If I find more, I’ll post them too, but I think this is it…

haha – Rhythm nation is on the 1001 and thinking I was buying the album, I accidentally bought the cassette single. So we’ve got some overlap in our tape collections!

So you were trying to buy the thing on cassette? Is it not on CD? Do you need me to keep my eyes peeled in my travels – good chance I could find it! Heck, depending on your goal (do you need to own all 1001?), you might get to hear that one for free on the Tubes Of You!

I’ve been consuming them on just about every medium – cassette/cd/lp/tubes of you and I just acquired an 8-track player that I believe is in working condition.
The trick now is to locate an 8 track to put it to the test!
And not to worry about looking out for the albums for now – but around album #900 or so, if the world wide web or local shops can’t deliver the albums I need, I may send out a request for assistance!

Right on, I’m a fan of having the means to play anything and everything! I don’t have an 8-track player but I have the rest! I see 8-tracks at our local Value Village. Flea markets, yard sales (in the spring)…
Consider this a standing invitation to send a list for sought-after items! If only someone would make a community list we could all check and have on-hand when we’re out and about… WAIT! Someone has! 🙂 Yeah man, just do up a list, send it as an email to me and I’ll make sure it goes into our Grail Search List!!

Well, I sometimes wonder if focussing on one genre might lend a bit more clarity to reviews, a deeper understanding. Me, I usual just write variations of I REALLY LIKED THIS!!
Don’t have the Milli Vanilli record here, just those singles. Maybe the Tubes of You have all the tracks. I still owe you another drunk review too. Time to get sauced!

Naw, if I’m gonna do it, it needs to be the full deal. Unless the cassette singles have tracks the album doesn’t. Then I’d include them too.

Just looking at these again, and if you took out the Roy and Coleman Wilde, this is mostly dance/rap. So apparently around the time cassette singles were a thing, I was into that stuff. Heck, I still like Young MC today. 😉
