B.B. King In Hospital

B.B. King In Hospital

Thanks to Mike for the heads-up on this news. It’s been reported that B.B. King has been taken to hospital near his home in Las Vegas, suffering complications from his diabetes. He had also cancelled some shows at the end of 2014, due to his health.

B.B. is now 89 years old. We wish him a speedy recovery, and all the best. Stay strong B.B.!

Truly a bummer. Nobody lives forever, but I hope BB King hangs on a little longer.

Joni Mitchell was also sick. Joni suffers from mental illness as well, Delusional parasitosis and OCD etc.

My hope is that it’s just something routine. One article mentioned dehydration due to the diabetes. Pretty sure they know how to handle dehydration in hospitals, these days. It could just be a visit of a few days and then on you go.

I didn’t know that about Joni.

I Googled it and didn’t find much in the news sites, though a comment to his FB says he’s headed home today. Right on.

As for keeping a bluesman down, isn’t that their schtick? They’ve been down so long… haha 😉

Saw him a couple of years ago. Great show, but a little short.

I read that Joni Mitchell was also in hospital.

Just last night I chatted on the phone with an old friend whom I had lost touch with.

We all get older. More and more people we know will die.

I’ve been fortunate to see B.B. four times in concert, over the years. I’d understand if his more recent shows were a little shorter, for sure.

Joni’s in hospitl too? Well then, same thing goes for her: get well soon, Joni!

I’m glad you reconnected with your friend, it’s true none of us are getting younger. But this post surely wasn’t a pronouncement of anyone’s death, just a message of support for a hero of mine.

On the other hand, what is the name of your blog? 🙂
