KMA1900 Jim Cuddy – All In Time

jim cuddy allThe Taranna Was Hot Series: Part 16/25

Found this 1998 debut solo release for $2.99 at Sonic Boom. You’ll know Blue Rodeo’s mid-tempo and ballad country and rock tracks that sound like only they can, and that’s basically what we have here. Cuddy’s distinctive vocals carry so well over these tunes, and the playing is stellar. I loved every track.

Guests: Blue Rodeo’s Bazil Donovan and Colin Cripps, Wilco’s Jay Bennett and Jeff Tweedy, Michelle McAdorey, Sarah Harmer, Melanie Doane, Gavin Brown, John Whynot, and Andy Maize.

  1. Great album — saw him live on his second solo tour and he toured with Bazil and Bob Packwood from Blue Rodeo.

  2. He’s got such a wonderfully gentle voice – and this was another wonderfully succinct review Aaron!

  3. Nice tidy writeup. Turn the lights off when your done…

  4. I’ve finished reading this before I even have a sip of coffee! Bam! Just like that!

Never heard of this dude, but that’s a fine bunch o’ pals who’ve joined him for this one.
