Sunday Morning Coming Down

So, after the Tool set this week, I’m a little spent. It was a lot to try to digest, and I still feel like I didn’t even come close to covering any of it. Those records are so dense and fascinating!

Also, I am working on a super-big post that, while nearing completion, is not yet quite finished…

With all of that in mind, I’m being a bit lazy today and just sharing the work of other people. Shamelessly. Thank you, internets!

Haha I knew you’d focus on the Star Wars one! I recently read someone saying they think Rey is a Kenobi, not a Skywalker. But then how would the lightsaber call to her? Also, stranded in the desert, when did Ben ever get laid? In Mos Eisley? I dunno…

Ben will be in the current season of Star Wars: Rebels. In the last episode, Darth Maul tracked him down to “a desert planet…with two suns. So, it ends where it began…” And now Ezra Bridger and Kanan Jarrus are off to stop him from killing Kenobi!

There is also a serious rumour that Ewen McGregor is eager to make a movie that fans are dubbing “Old Ben”.

SUCH a good show. You can watch it for free online if you know where to look, which I do. Oh man. Tom Baker from Dr. Who (the classic guy with the dark curly hair) is a voice on it now. He played “Bendu”, a character neither light nor dark…Sarah Michell Gellar played the Seventh Sister, and Billy Dee Williams came back to play Lando. I believe Frank Oz also did Yoda. James Earl Jones is DEFINITELY still doing Vader and he’s been amazing on the show. FInally you get to see Darth Vader as the “best starpilot in the galaxy”.

Not as funny as Darth Balls, though. And then K-OS kinda took the fun out of it. And I wouldn’t do it again now, KOOS doesn’t have that same je ne sais quoi, ya know? 😉

R&R? Well, it’s been a busy day otherwise – I shovelled 3′ of snow off our deck, and I’ve baked muffins, and spent some time tickle-wrestling with the kids (I always lose, of course)…

I’m looking forward to this super-big post too!

I would totally buy a ticket to an Iron Gods gig. Rancid Temple (my name)… er… sounds like something our HMO would listen to! Haha!

Ya never know, Deke… the Sunday Service might return, one day. You know that I get restless and shift things, every once in a while, so um, maybe? Haha even I don’t know! :)D
