Glass Tiger – Thin Red Line

This isn’t a review, though I will get to this classic from my childhood eventually.

Instead of putting in the work (haha), today we went skating with the kids (they’re really improving!) and had post-skating hot chocolate. Good times!

So, this is just an appreciation post for a cool copy of this LP, which I recently found. Call it Eye Candy Sunday…

You see, the copy I found has a clear LP! Sweet.

  2. Nice score with the clear vinyl.
Man these guys were everywhere on that debut album….
Jim Vallance between the Tiger and Bryan Adams was rolling in mega dough back in the mid 80’s….

  3. At one point I had this on LP – I don’t remember it being clear though, nice find!

  4. Bea-utiful. Don’t know if I would go searching this one out myself. Though I do remember enjoying this one back in the day, the nostalgia is not so strong a pull for me here. However, the clear vinyl is pretty sweet.

  6. I’m guessing they were a Canadian thing? I don’t know the name at all.

    • Yup, they’re from Newmarket, ON, which is a wee bit north of Toronto. They were super huge here in the 80s. Shame they never got more notice across the pond, I’ll bet folks would really have liked them! Check out this album and Diamond Sun. Two great records, massive part of my childhood!
