Thanks, R.A.N.! I will always send out big love to the Roots, and will always buy up any release I don’t already have.

That BT 9thW release, is that Streams Of Thought? I wanna get that one! Is it still MP3 only, or is it in physical format somewhere yet?

Excellent grab! They’re pretty incredible live. I’ve spend hours on several occasions watching video after video on YouTube.

In fact, have you ever watched the set with Lauryn Hill? Exceptional.

Ah yes, I have been down the YouTube rabbit hole watching Roots videos myself! Never seen them in concert myself (yet), but I sure would love to.

I may have seen some of the LH set, but now you mention it I wanna go see the whole thing!

Great thanks! I’ve often thought I should start at Organix and listen all the way through and make a mix of all the tracks where there’s no swears so the kids can dig these guys. ‘Cos I know they would!

You know, I’ve never listened to The Roots. I feel like that’s a bit of an accomplishment. But probably not one to brag about.

It is an accomplishemnt in its own way, for sure! But if you like literate, intelligent conscious hip hop with a live band making the music (not a machine), you will definitely wanna be checking them out!
