From the box of Brother Craig goodies, here we have an album I already own (and that’s quite alright).
Deep Purple’s 1984 effort Perfect Strangers was exactly what I needed to hear right now. The reunited classic line-up of Ian Gillan, Ritchie Blackmore, Jon Lord, Roger Glover and Ian Paice offered up the rawk as only they could. There were only two singles: Knocking At Your Back Door, and Perfect Strangers.
Here’s the whole thing:
I ordered this from Amazon about a month ago and it arrived a couple of days later. I still haven’t listened to it yet!

It got #2 spot on my top riffs of the 80s list for a reason (it was probably the riff). Hell of a song.

Was it the riff? Lol

Couldn’t rightly say. Let me listen to it again to be sure.

You might have to turn it right up loud. Sometimes I find that helps!!!

“Knocking at Your Back Door” is the best song on the album. Love Ritchie’s guitar solo on it.

Oh I remember and love this. Stood in the rain at Knebworth to see them play.

I doubt you even felt the rain, to be honest. So awesome that you got to see them!
