I loved finding this one in the 3-for-$10 bin at BMV. Warren Zevon fronting the R.E.M. band, doing old blues song covers, sometimes as rock songs? Hahaha no-brainer for me! There’s also a fairly straight rockin’ cover of Prince’s Raspberry Beret. This is dive bar music, tightly-played and worth every minute of your time. I love that they put two distinct acts together and the result was something different and solid.
