This 2013 effort from the incredible Sadies is every damn inch as amazing as anything else by them I’ve ever heard.
There’s a magic to their efforts, a professional ease with which they nimbly blast through country, rock, surf, folk, psychedelia, you name it.
And this record gives more tastes of their best flavours. The guitar picking is incredible, the instrumentals are fun, they can twang with the best of them. And Buffy Sainte-Marie joins on the last track!

Sure. I’ll see if I can get a few quiet minutes in the house. Trouble is, my computer is right in the living room, so unless we want kid noise in the background, I’m gonna have to kick them out for a bit! I might be able to try after they go to bed… Lemme see what I can do.
