Today marks 600 daily posts in a row. I don’t know where, in the process, that I decided it would be fun to keep the record (pun intended) going, but here we are. It’s mostly once daily, though some days saw more than one post.
It probably started, back in the mists of time, with the failed All The Everything series, where I attempted to cover everything I have here in the collection (and I totally burnt out on it). In the aftermath of that, it became the Daily Song, with U2’s New Year’s Day, on 2021-05-06. That morphed into my covering songs from, and telling you about, my thrift shoppe finds and other purchases, beginning on 2021-07-07 with the Silver Snakes.
For anyone interested, here’s the full list up to and including today’s forthcoming album post. Sorry for the spacing. Between not allowing me to single-space the list AND fucking me around trying to put those Gerard Butler pictures side by side (rather than one beneath the other, this block editor can kiss my entire ass.

And onward. How long will the streak last? I dunno. We’ll see. Probably longer if I don’t think about it too much and just keep doing what I have been doing thus far.
That is impressive. I think 14 days might be the most I’ve done in a row as I normally only do 6 a week. Here’s to 600 more and then another 600 and another and so on.

Wow, thanks for the vote of confidence! Although, as I was saying elsewhere, it’s a routine for me at this point, so reaching some huge ridiculous number eventually is within the realm of possibility. Of course, it’s equally possible I could screw it all up tomorrow by forgetting or being busy with things.

You won’t screw it up. I see 10,000 days in a row in your future!! I just noticed I had my 1,700th post this past week. Crazy.

If I make it 10,000 Days, that post definitely has to be a Tool song… For your 1700th post, is that in a row? Am I way behind you?

No, that is in total since I started. I will do over 340 for this year though so not quite every day.

Wow! And yours are WAAAY more detailed and better than my brief barfs! Also, I just looked it up. I have 3471 posts since we started in 2006, James has 299. Definitely quantity vs. quality. But that’s 3770 posts, if I read it right.

That is a lot of posts.

Congratulations- I don’t think I’ve ever done more than two in a row, maybe three.

That’s a few shy of 600 lol I didn’t even try to do this, it just sort of happened. And I imagine it’ll likely keep happening because I have a routine and I’ve just stuck to it. See you at 700, and 800, and… 😉

More bonkers than impressive, Deke! I dunno, I just post every morning while I drink coffee. Seems to work. It certainly wasn’t my intention to keep a streak going but, well, here we are!
